Choose two matching devices
Prepare a primary and backup suitable for long-term storage. Both should contain the same encrypted data.
HOW IT WORKS
You choose the media and encrypt it. Everkeep handles the physical chain: intake, verification of matching ciphertext, sealing and separate storage.
Prepare a primary and backup suitable for long-term storage. Both should contain the same encrypted data.
Use full-volume encryption and keep the password and recovery information somewhere safe and separate.
Follow the intake guide, record the device serial numbers, and send both copies to the designated receiving address.
Everkeep records each manufacturer serial number, assigns an EK-YYYY-NNNN custody number, applies a numbered seal and photographs the sealed media.
The primary and backup are stored in different locations. Facility security is monitored; the media stays disconnected from every network.
THE EVERKEEP SEAL
The brass seal is more than a visual signature. It connects the public promise to an operating record: custody number, manufacturer serial, close-up seal image and full-device photographs.
Custody ID · device serial · seal status · intake photographs · primary/backup location record · verifier sign-off
AFTER INTAKE
A record tying your device to its custody number and seal evidence.
A scheduled physical condition check and exception record.
Clear notice before the next custody period begins.
